This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of trucks and trailers.\nDuties\n\u2022 Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers,\n...\nflatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers.\n\u2022 Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.\n\u2022 Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.\n\u2022 Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.\n\u2022 Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.\n\u2022 Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.\n\u2022 Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.\nSkills\n\u2022 Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles.\n\u2022 Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and freight handling.\n\u2022 Strong background in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).\n\u2022 Familiarity with delivery driver experience and route driving.\n\u2022 Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.\n\u2022 Knowledge of safety regulations related to truck driving.\n\u2022 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
